Every year we organize four from shore underwater clean-ups around Venice, FL. These local landmarks are well-known locations for the community, but not many know how much garbage and debris is lurking just under the surface. Through a combined effort of in-water and out-of-water volunteers, we’ve brought hundreds of pounds of garbage to the surface that otherwise would have continued to degraded. Usually planned during the summer months, these clean-ups are a continuous effort to keep our Suncoast beautiful.
